Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the month end reporting and analysis cycle. Specific responsibilities include:

• Support month end / quarter end close activities
• Assist in the annual budgeting process as well as the monthly forecasts
• Budget to actual variance analysis including commentary
• Monitor and continue to develop KPI, metrics and management reports to guide senior management team in business decision
• Revenue recognition calculations using percentage of completion accounting including ensuring inputs are accurate
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and working papers
• Assist in establishing accounting policies and review accounting entries to ensure compliance with these policies
• Excel spreadsheet analysis and reporting
• Assist in the implementation of process improvement projects

Requirements:

To be considered for this Financial Analyst opportunity,

• 3+ years of experience working in the month end reporting cycle
• CPA designation or actively working towards a designation
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles
• College diploma or University degree in business / accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience with a major ERP package like SAP
