Dave Oswald is the Founder and Director of Forensic Restitution. A fraud investigation company specializing in white collar crime investigations, forensic accounting, eDiscovery, data analytics, fraud risk assessments, loss adjusting & claim formulation, crime prevention and Anton Pilier investigations.
Dave has developed computer forensic and littigation support capabilities in Canada, includig training of staff in computer forensics in a Big 4 environment. He has investigated mortgage fraud at two of Canada’s major banks and aided in developing analytics for identifying fraud in Canadian banking. Dave has developed sophisticated models to track expense fraud and constructed data analytics models for payroll and accounts payable.
Judi Smith is a business development manager and broker with Aon. Judi obtained her BA from York University in 1983 and went on to complete her Certified Risk Management designation from McMaster University in 2009 and has completed her Chartered Insurance Professional program in 2013 and has started to work on her Fellowship CIP. Judi’s primary areas of expertise are manufacturing and product liability. Judi uses extensive knowledge to counsel company’s on how to protect companies identify areas of risk to ensure coverage is adequate and properly being addressed. Judi introduces product line experts who understand specific industry concerns and issues and connects the dots so her clients are presented with options on how best to effectively transfer their risk. Along with business development, Judi brings together educational events for Aon’s current and prospective clients on a variety of topics.
