Accounting and Payroll Clerk

Our client, a well-established player in its industry in the Waterloo area is seeking to add a well-rounded results-oriented Accounting and Payroll Clerk to its team.

Department: Accounting
Locations: Waterloo, Ontario
Compensation: $45,000 to $55,000

Responsibilities for this role include:


  • Bookkeeping for several companies in a variety of different industries
  • Transactional responsibilities like AR and AP processing, and payroll processing
  • Assisting directly with the month end financial reporting package
  • Administration work including benefits and RSP administration

  • Actively working towards a designation or are qualified by experience

  • Ability and to desire to also do transactional activities like AP and AR in addition to month end responsibilities
  • Experienced processing payroll and processing and reconciling source deductions payments including EHT and WSIB
  • Experienced with the month end responsibilities including balance sheet reconciliations
