Office Manager (Accounting Experience Required)

Salary: $40,000 to $60,000

Location: North Waterloo, Ontario

Our client conducts transportation and logistics for some of the largest suppliers in poultry in Ontario. They are rapidly growing and are quickly expanding their accounting team. They are looking to bring on a candidate who will be the glue that holds the office together.

Requirements

About You You are an experienced office manager/bookkeeper looking to join a rapidly growing transportation company as a key member of the team and the culture. You are detailed oriented, organized and are known for taking initiative in resolving office management and bookkeeping issues. You want to apply your experience in bookkeeping and office administration to help a company operate and grow smoothly. You may also be keen to expand your role and take on new projects. Responsibilities Include; Company bookkeeping (including AR, AP, journal entries, month end and year end closing, financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations); Regulatory reporting including GST/HST and EHT filings, benefit remittance and maintaining records for tax filing; All aspects of payroll processing and administration; Management of external vendors; Assist in the preparation and maintenance of various reporting spreadsheets, documents etc.; Office administration, including ordering and managing office supplies/furniture; Various clerical and administrative tasks Requirements Experience in bookkeeping (preferably using QuickBooks or Sage 50); Office administration experience; Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Proven ability to take initiative, with strong time management and organizational skills; Maintain professionalism in all business areas and interactions; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
