Job Opportunity:

Fractional Bookkeeper

Salary: Negotiable

Location: Kitchener-Waterloo Area, Ontario

Our client, a local technology business in the Kitchener/Waterloo area is seeking to add a results-oriented Fractional Bookkeeper to its team for part-time work. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing journal entries, preparing financial statements, handling receivables and payables, writing up books of accounts, handling government remittances, and payroll processing. The days of work and the hours per week are flexible to suit the candidate.

Requirements

You are a full charge bookkeeper or are qualified by experience. You have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and/or general accounting. Having your own registered practice through incorporation or sole proprietorship is a valued asset. You possess strong communication and organization skills. You will have intermediate level excel skills and strong computer skills overall as well as experience with Accounting Software. You should also have experience with the month end responsibilities including balance sheet reconciliations. This role requires someone who can work autonomously with limited supervision.
