Cost Analyst

Salary: $55,000 to $70,000

Location: Kitchener, Ontario

Our client, an established company in Kitchener is looking to add a Cost Analyst to its Finance team. Our client strives to offer a quality work experience within a diverse and dynamic environment. In this role your specific duties will include, but are not limited to; ongoing analysis of costs (products and process) with a view of increasing profit and efficiencies, review and maintenance of Bill of Materials, maintain and coordinate the administration of cost reduction activities, prepare analysis for the monthly reporting package including gross margin, inventory metrics, and material and overhead variance.

Requirements

You are a designated accountant and have a minimum of 5 years of costing experience, preferable within a standard costing environment. You have a strong understanding of large ERP Systems such as (JDE, Oracle, or SAP). You have a proven track record in highlighting and resolving issues in a timely manner, questioning results, challenging the status quo, initiating and successfully implementing change, creative problem solving and effective decision making. You should have superior communication skills, both orally and written and experience interacting with and presenting your analysis to Senior Management.
